Little did I know that my career as a speech and language pathologist
would lead me to so many fulfilling directions.
Many thanks to all of those wonderful patients, caregivers, families, and many friends
who have supported me and been my greatest teachers.
I hope I was able to give them what they needed as they greatly enriched my journey.

I dedicate this to the memory of my mother - Florence Mitchell (1918-2005)
